Calls to Canada
A Great Deal Just Got
Better.
If you're already a Vonage
customer, you're in luck.
We've added 31 million people
and 3.8 million square miles
to your calling plan.
Effective immediately, all
Vonage calls to Canada aren't
international--they're long
distance.
By waiving international
fees to Canada, Vonage
essentially treats calls to
Canada just like traditional
long distance calls throughout
the U.S.
Every Canadian province is
included.
This reduced rate applies
to every Vonage customer,
regardless of which plan they
have. The rates apply to both
Residential and Business
accounts.
If you don't have one of
the Vonage Unlimited plans,
and you exceed your allotted
minutes in a given month, then
any call you make to Canada
will be charged the low rate
of 3.9 cents per minute. This
is exactly the same rate that
you would pay for exceeding
domestic U.S. long distance
use.
So we treat those calls just
like domestic U.S. calls,
which saves you money.
If you have an Unlimited
plan, overage charges do not
apply to Canada or domestic
U.S. long distance calls.
Dialing Canada is easy. You
use the same 11 digit dialing
that you use to make calls to
U.S. numbers. There are no
special access numbers to
dial, and best of all, no
added fees.
So call Canada all you
want. With Vonage it's all
part of the plan.
- Does
Vonage offer service to
Canadian residents?
Not yet. Vonage currently
serves U.S. residents
only. We don't ship
equipment to addresses
outside the U.S. Canadian
calling currently only
applies to outbound calls
that Vonage customers make
from U.S. area codes.
- Will
I be charged extra for
dialing Canadian numbers?
- Is
there an extra monthly fee
to activate Canadian
calling?
- Why
did Vonage waive
international fees to
Canada?
